There has never been a dearth of women in RGV’s life and mortals like us can’t help but feel jealous of him. He loves Vodka, tweets when he’s drunk, calls people chootiya and utters fucckkkk out of love and sheer joy, hangs out with the most dreaded dons in the country in the name of understanding their psychology, has made the best and worst of films we have ever seen and then…he does it all over again. And of course, there are women.
Recently, he sent a press note to all the media houses in Andhra Pradesh about his film Department, praising his latest find – Nathalia Kaur. The press note is more like a love letter but then since it’s RGV, you can go ahead and read between the lines. And then he tweeted, “I nvr hid a fact tht am a devotee of womans beauty..bt I hvn’t seen nyone mre beautiful thn Nathalia kaur who did dan dan song in Department. We wr tryng fr Sunny leone bt by Gods grace it dint wrk out or else v wud hv lost out on smone as divine as Nathalia nd I thank God for that. I dint ever see a Nathalia kind of combination of a classically beautiful face with an angel like body nd then so highly expressive” Why doesn’t that surprise us anymore? Ever since he made his debut as a director in Shiva, he has been associated with three women at different periods of time and who knows how long the list goes. Can Nathalia stand out in his long list of muses which includes Urmila, Antara Mali, Nisha Kothari and Isha Koppikar? And not to forget Sridevi. He worked with her in two films – Kshana Kshanam and Govinda Govinda and considers her as an angel. He was an ardent admirer of Sridevi and has written a blog about her. (click here to read)
What’s interesting to note is the kind of films he had made at several points of time whenever he was associated with an actress. He worked with Urmila in as many as 10 films and that’s the highest ever he has been associated with an actress. And then Antara Mali walked into his life; however, this didn’t long last either. After drooling over her physique in Prema Kadha and Naach, he began casting another actress named Nisha Kothari in his films. I am not sure if you can find fault with either RGV or Nisha, but during that time, RGV made films like Shiva, AAG and Agyaat. And for a very brief moment of time Isha Koppikar managed to stand out in his films like Company and Darling.
Long before he found Canon 5D to shoot his films and experiment with the camera angels, he had found the knack of accentuating the sexuality of his heroines in almost all the films. Only a man who’s deeply in love with sexuality and like he says ‘devotee of women’s beauty’ could have done that. As far as his latest tweets on Nathalia Kaur go, well…lets just wait and watch for the video and subsequently the film to understand his perspective. Ohh…by the way, Nathalia’s original name is Nathalia Pinheiro, a Brazilian model who eventually came to India and won the Kingfisher Calendar Girl hunt 2012.
Recently, in an interview to Times of India, RGV commented that the only thing he remembered about Teen Patti was the girl’s back in the item number. I hope with Department, he finds his mojo back, otherwise, the only thing worth remembering in that film might be the item number feat Nathalia. Well, it’ll be nice if he gets at least this part right. That’s all one can hope for.
You can see why she has distracted him a lot…

What is very interesting is that very time RGV is supposedly enamoured by one of his so-called ‘muses’, so is the rest of India. This is, regardless of what B.O business the film does. Reams of newsprint are devoted to that goddess of the moment and she captures the imagination of scores of viewers across the nation.Ultimately, RGV changes heroines with about as much frequency as the next director. In fact, we don’t even know with what intensity other directors obsess about their heroines, or whether RGV really obsesses about his heroines at all.To me, entertainment is so much about demand and supply. Even things like this, without going into debates about what is true and what’s not. when we talk about perversion, it seems to me like a demand for such a product exists. When we talk about an RGV with an attention deficit as far as his muses go, it seems to me as if the masses genuinely encourage this image. After all, how many people are interested in non -controversial people OR their films.
Liked both articles gives sensible perspectives I liked his many movies a lot specially company .I appreciate his energy of working with fresh ideas at the age of 51.He is not repeating himself like many other filmmakers for success.
I interviewed him many times and meeting him since last 12 yrs .As in person I like him a lot . He is very sweet and gentleman .Among all his leading ladies I liked only Urmila .Though I only broke the story in Mumbai Mirror about his latest muse but its more of a marketing for movie then his devotion to beauty.
